What is a medicare supplement?

  • A Medicare Supplement also known as a Medigap plan is a private insurance that fills in the gaps for out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare Parts A and B don’t cover. (It covers your 20%). A monthly premium will be required to be paid in order to keep the plan in place.

HOW DO I know I am eligible for a Medicare advantage plan?

  • You have to be currently enrolled in Medicare Part A and Part B coverage (Original Medicare) and live in the plans service area.


WILL MY LIFE INSURANCE POLICY BE GUARANTEED ISSUE?

  • We assist you based on your needs. If that’s what you are looking for then we will let you know your options. A guaranteed issue life insurance policy does not require a medical exam and is offered by almost all the carriers we partner with. The great thing about this is that the coverage amounts are typically lower than life insurance policies that do include a medical exam.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHOLE LIFE AND TERM LIFE?

  • Term Life- provides coverage for a set period of time usually between 10-30 years. A death benefit will be paid out to your beneficiary if you were to die within the length of the policy period.

  • Whole Life- last your entire lifespan and grows in cash value which can be borrowed against or withdrawn during your lifetime. A death benefit will be issued to the listed beneficiary on your policy at the time of death.
